Crochet bag made from chunky t-shirt yarn, this crochet tote bag pattern is perfect for when you have yarn that needs anything between a 10mm and 15mm crochet hook.
Crochet eround sack pattern works up super quick, so don't be surprised if one crochet bag turns into many craft market top sellers. The oversized bulky crochet stitches will make your project extra special, and you will have a sturdy hardwearing crochet bag in no time.
The round tote bag can easily be finished off with a wooden toggle button or any type of button of your choice.
Easy pattern for beginners and teenagers and makes a great festival tote bag. Crochet crossbody bags are hardwearing, and can easily be washed.
Tshirt yarn, bulky yarn or chunky yarn works well for this crochet bag pattern.
So grab your very large crochet hook and start making your oversized woman handbag satchel bag.
Yarn requirements for pattern:
T-shirt Yarn
Weight: 650 to 800g skein
Crochet hook: 15mm, depending on the size of your yarn, for this pattern I used a 15mm crochet hook as T-shirt yarn tends to be very thick and has a bit of a stretch to it, and with the specific type of yarn, for me, a 15 mm size hook works best.
I know not all T-shirt yarn is equal so I would suggest that if you can a tight enough stitch with a slight stretch to it with the crochet hook you have, you should be good to go.
One Bag with a strap requires just under one skein of x 650 to 800g T-shirt yarn
